Area Information

Seki is beautiful, traditional mountain village surrounded by forests, green fields and the Taurus mountains. It is located at the foot of Mount Eren, at an altitude of 1250 metres. Anyone travelling from Antalya to Fethiye during the winter, will pass along the snow covered slopes of the Seki Plateau before the road winds down on to the Fethiye plain.

Seki is a one hour drive from Fethiye and it is 1 ½ hour`s from Dalamn airport. Due to its altitude Seki is cooler and less humid than other areas around Fethiye , with average temperatures of 28C during the summer months. The concept of establishing winter tourism in Seki is well under way and most of the infrastructure has now been completed. Mount Eren is 2670 metres high. A ground station which includes a cafeteria medical facilities and ticket office have now been completed and preparations for down hill skiing will soon follow suit. Once the cable car section has been installed, the resort will be ready.

So just think, in the spring time you can ski in the mornings and swim in the clear waters of Oludeniz lagoon in the afternoon! Other activities like horse riding, climbing and fishing in Lake Girdev are also possible at Seki.
